ARKANSAS

Senator Blanche Lincoln will be holding a tele-townhall on August 31, 2010 at 8:00 p.m.  If you’d like to take part, please email [email protected] with your name, mailing address, phone number and email address. You must send this information by 8 a.m. on Monday, August 30. You will then receive a phone call from Senator Lincoln on Tuesday, August 31, around 8 p.m.

CALIFORNIA

Senator Barbara Boxer will be debating Carly Fiorna at St. Mary’s College, 1928 St Mary’s Rd., Moraga, on September 1 at 7:00 p.m.  Gather at 6:00 p.m. in front of the Lefevre Theater on campus with signs.  We'll also run a carpool from the Orinda BART. Please email [email protected] if you need a ride.

INDIANA

On September 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Senator Richard Lugar will be attending the 32nd Annual Community Run, Walk and Health and Fitness Fair on the Butler University Campus, in Indianapolis.

MICHIGAN

On August 30, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., Senator Debbie Stabenow will be speaking on “Michigan’s New Green Economy and Green Jobs” at the Walter and Mae Reuther UAW Family Education Center, 2800 Maxon Rd., Onaway, MI.         

NEVADA

On September 7, 2010, Senator Harry Reid will attend “National Clean Energy Summit 3.0: Investing in American Jobs” at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Cox Pavilion. Cox Pavilion is located on campus at Tropicana and Swenson, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, in Las Vegas. The full agenda for the day can be found at http://cleanenergysummit.org/agenda.html.  We'll gather at 7:30 a.m. and rally at 8 a.m. at Tropicana and Swenson on the Swenson side of the street.  Senator Reid is also scheduled to take part in the Clean Energy Town Hall at 4 p.m. 

VERMONT

Senator Bernie Sanders will be attending a series of town halls:

  • August 28, 2010 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Brighton Elementary School, 825 Railroad St., Island Pond, VT
  • August 28, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at North Country Union High School, 209 Veterans Ave., Newport, VT
  • August 29, 2010 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Barton Municipal Building, 17 Village Square, Barton, VT
  • August 29, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at VFW Hall Post 9563, 28 VFW Street, Morrisville, VT
