Buy a Photo, Help Save Wildlife
The Center for Biological Diversity is proud to announce a new collaboration with one of the world’s most important nature photographers, Joel Sartore.
You can buy one of Joel’s photos here and benefit the Center. But don't forget to enter the special code CBD5.
Like the Center, Joel is dedicated to telling the story of rare and vanishing species as well as the promise of protection offered by the Endangered Species Act.
Over the next year, as the nation gears up to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Act, the Center will highlight one photo each month from one of Joel’s recent books Rare: Portraits of America’s Species, each an arresting and intimate reminder of the exquisite diversity of life.
Friends of the Center will be able to purchase a featured Sartore photo — or any in his collection — at a discount. The Center will receive 5% or more of each purchase, which will go directly toward protecting animals, plants and their habitat. Proceeds from this campaign will also support Joel's latest project, The Photo Ark.
Sartore has spent much of his career traveling the globe to find and photograph some of the rarest creatures on the planet. Whether it’s the Mexican gray wolf or the Salt Creek tiger beetle, each photo offers a unique perspective on a unique species worth saving. The photos make great gifts, either for yourself or someone you know.
