Keep the Heat on the Senate to Stop Global Warming

Bookmark and Share

The Center is joining forces with 350.org, 1Sky and Energy Action Coalition to let our senators know it's not okay to quit working to stop climate change and provide a real solution to oil spills.

The basic idea: Attend a public event where your senator is speaking. We've already identified the events and can connect you with others or you can bring a few friends.

Stand outside with signs, and have one or two people inside the event politely ask the senator when the Senate plans to actually pass a climate bill that reduces carbon in our atmosphere to the level science demands, no more than 350 parts per million, and protects the Clean Air Act.  It's that easy.

**Sign up here, and we’ll send you some ideas for questions and signs. Go here for a list of events you can attend.**

Emails and phone calls are great, but it’s time to turn the heat up on our senators to act — and act boldly.
