ACTION TIMELINE

July 8, 2009 – The Center notified the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency of our intent to sue over the agency’s failure to consider impacts to the polar bear and its Arctic habitat from toxic contamination resulting from U.S. pesticide use.

December 3, 2009 – After receiving no response to our notice, the Center sued the EPA over its failure to protect polar bears from Arctic pesticide contamination.
