Center for     Biological     Diversity

Dear Everyaction,

Please join us on Wednesday, Dec. 8 as the Center for Biological Diversity and Friends of the Tampa Bay National Wildlife Refuges team up with The Ale and the Witch to bring you environmental education, conversation and beer.

This month Jason Cowen of the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve will teach us about birds of prey. From eagles and hawks to falcons, owls and vultures, every bird of prey fills a niche. But living in urban areas is a challenge for these wild creatures. Jason will give us an up-close encounter with Boyd Hill’s raptors and the obstacles they face in a steadily urbanizing world.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 8, 6-7 p.m.
Where: The Ale and the Witch, 111 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Cost: Free (featuring affordable craft beer)

The event takes place outdoors. Masks, vaccinations and social distancing are strongly encouraged.

Mark your calendar: "Ales and Wild Tails" takes place on the second Wednesday of every month.
