It’s Time to Ramp Up Pressure to Save Oak Flat

Join us Tuesday, May 4 to learn new advocacy techniques.

Center for     Biological     Diversity

Oak Flat is a biological gem and a sacred site for Western Apache and other Arizona tribes. It's time to increase the pressure in the fight to save it from Rio Tinto's dangerous and destructive copper mine.

Join the Center for Biological Diversity and Sierra Club on Tuesday, May 4 at 5:30 p.m. for an online session to write letters to our representatives urging them to cosponsor the Save Oak Flat Act. Don't worry if you don't know who your representative is — we can help you figure that out.

We'll also be working on letters to the editor to submit to papers in Arizona. We'll provide talking points, and workshop leaders can review your letter while we're on the call.

Every small action counts as we work to save sacred Oak Flat from Resolution Copper. Sign up and we'll send you the link to join us on Tuesday.
