Hello Revelator readers,
Five years ago science writer Erica Cirino joined an oceangoing mission to help understand the threat of plastic pollution. The journey has now culminated in her new book Thicker Than Water: The Quest for Solutions to the Plastic Crisis. We spoke with her about what’s working to solve the problem and what still makes her anxious.
