Deny Piney Point Its Permit to Pollute

The recent disaster at the Piney Point gypstack that dumped hundreds of gallons of toxic water into Tampa Bay was a stark reminder: Phosphogypsum stacks are a danger to ecosystems, wildlife and people. 

Now Manatee County wants to take the remaining millions of gallons of acidic, radioactive wastewater and inject them into Florida’s fragile aquifers.

Tell the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to protect our groundwater and reject this dangerous plan.
