Action timeline

August 2, 1995 – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed threatened status for the pallid manzanita.

April 22, 1998 – The Service listed the pallid manzanita as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.

April 7, 2003 – A draft recovery plan for the manzanita was released.
