RECOVERY PLAN: 1990

RANGE: Allegheny Highlands of West Virginia and Virginia

THREATS: Climate change, habitat loss, mining, logging, and introduced insect species

POPULATION TREND: Neither the historic nor the current population size is known. Due to lack of rigorous monitoring, recent population trends are unknown. The species, however, has a small distribution and is considered to be rare.
