Action timeline

April 6, 2011 – The Center filed a petition seeking Endangered Species Act protection for the dwarf seahorse.

May 3, 2012 – In response to the Center's 2011 petition, the National Marine Fisheries Service announced that the dwarf seahorse may warrant protection under the Endangered Species Act.
