Save the Verde! Meeting Date Change

Greetings,

The Upper Verde River Watershed Protection Coalition is meeting on Thursday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. (not their normal Wednesday as previously reported).  The meeting is at the Prescott Town Hall, 201 S. Wanted to also send a thank you shout-out to everyone who came to Granite Creek Park on Saturday to enjoy the Earth Day festivities, as well as to everyone who has contributed a decorated droplet!  The Little Drops of Water made an impressive display with well over a thousand paper droplets on ribbon stapled to the split rail fence around the park.  (See the photo banner above.)  We also talked to dozens of folks and generated 75 letters to various elected officials encouraging support for protecting the Verde.

If you haven't submitted a decorated droplet yet, please download a copy, art it up, and mail it to Little Drop of Water, Center for Biological Diversity, PO Box 39629, Phoenix, AZ 85069.
